Our dedication to our people and the communities in which we serve has been reflected through the years in our philanthropy and community involvement. Lakeside contributes to local charitable organizations as a matter of principle, and has a reputation for giving back as a means to support the communities within which we live and work.
Each year, the division branches across our company participate in and host fundraising events important to their communities.
Despite its size as one of the largest industries in our country, the construction industry is currently facing a shortage of skilled men and women throughout all professions. The Lakeside Field Trip program was designed to help inform & inspire elementary and high school students about the opportunities available to them in our industry.
In addition to the many field trips we host around Washington State each year, we also support the AGC Education Foundation and the laborers, operating engineers, and teamster unions in their events hosted throughout the year. Events include the Construction Career Days in Seattle and Puyallup, Dozer Days, and more.LEARN MORE
Lakeside Industries is dedicated to supporting the charitable interests of all of its employees. In 2007, we established a matching gifts program to assist our employees with the ability to make a larger impact in their communities. Our program doubles the monetary donations of employees and contributes matching funds for employee volunteer hours for any 501 (c) organization.
To date, our gifts program has matched donations for hundreds of deserving causes and programs. The American Heart Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Progressive Animal Welfare Society, Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, and our local schools are just some examples of programs we have matched.
