Hot Mix Asphalt and EZ Street in Burlington, Rock and Quarry Spalls in Anacortes

Each of our three sites in this division sells something different, so know where to go before you drive out. Our Burlington plant sells hot mix asphalt and EZ Street cold patch by the ton, and it is the site contractors and road crews come to first for material on a job. Hot mix has to be placed while it is still warm, so most buyers coordinate a pickup time with the plant rather than stockpiling it.

Why Lakeside

Why Choose Lakeside Industries

Family-owned and locally operated

Decisions are made by people who live in your area. That ownership structure shapes how quickly we can respond when a customer calls with a problem.

More than 60 years of history

Lakeside Industries traces its roots to the 1950s, when the Lee family brought its service-focused background into the paving industry. Today, third-generation Lee family members continue to lead the family-owned company.

Crews who know the area

Our crews are based at this division and live in the communities they pave. They understand the region’s roads, weather, drainage challenges, and infrastructure before they arrive at a job.

An experienced workforce

The average Lakeside Industries employee stays with the company for 10 years. Crews that have worked together for years do not need to relearn the basics on every job, and that experience shows in the finished surface.

Washington’s #1 Best Workplace for 2026

Lakeside Industries received this recognition from the Puget Sound Business Journal based on anonymous employee surveys. The same employee-focused culture carries over to our job sites.

Locally produced asphalt

We operate our own plant, so the material we pave with is made locally and arrives hot. Managing production ourselves also reduces our reliance on a third-party supplier’s schedule.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Request an Estimate
Where do I pick up hot mix in Skagit County?

Our Burlington plant sells hot mix asphalt by the ton. Call ahead to confirm what is on hand before you drive out. Hot mix needs to be placed while it is still hot, so most buyers time their pickup to match when they plan to lay it.

Do you sell rock in Anacortes?

We sell crushed rock, quarry spalls, and ballast at our Burlington plant, located at 8198 Old Hwy 99 North, Burlington, WA 98233.

Do you pave residential driveways here?

Yes. This division paves new driveways and repaves old ones for homeowners in Anacortes, Bellingham, and the surrounding towns.

Can I buy hot mix or cold patch by the ton?

Yes. Both are sold by the ton at our Burlington plant located at 8198 Old Hwy 99 North, Burlington, WA 98233. Call the plant first to confirm availability.

What is EZ Street?

EZ Street is a cold mix asphalt that works at ambient temperature so that you can use it right out of the bag without heating. We sell it in 50 lb bags, 500 lb sacks, and 1-ton and 2-ton bulk sacks. It is a practical option for quick pothole repairs or any job where heating hot mix on site isn't realistic.
