Safety Makes Us Successful
Safety is Embedded in Everything We Do.
We do not just consider safety a priority but rather a core value. At Lakeside, there is no choice between safety or production or even safety alongside production. It’s safe production, every time, without exception. This is built on the foundation of our What’s Your Exposure (WYE) program and our Safety 24/7 culture promoting safety at work, home, and play.
Safety Program
Building a Culture of Safety
Lakeside has proudly developed our own comprehensive health and safety program that continues to be tailored to meet the changing needs of our people and industry. We participate in various owner and contractor screening and pre-qualification programs, processes, and trainings. Year after year, these owners and contractors recognize us for our strong safety performance and practices, going above and beyond basic regulatory requirements with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Our dedication to creating a safe working environment for all our employees has earned us recognition through numerous awards and acknowledgments for our safety innovation, some of which include the Joseph Holmes Safety Award from MSHA and recognition by NAPA for safety innovation.
Safety Leadership Roles and Responsibilities
Our safety department is dedicated to positively impacting not only the safety of those at Lakeside but of those across the entire industry. Whether a person is part of Lakeside or not, we prioritize sharing valuable safety information across our industry.
