EZ Street Ambient® Asphalt vs. Hot Mix Asphalt
EZ Street Ambient® Asphalt is engineered differently from traditional hot mix asphalt. Designed for flexibility and resilience, Ambient® technology makes it ideal for permanent repairs, patches, and maintenance projects – not just temporary fixes. Unlike hot mix, which must be produced and installed quickly at high temperatures, EZ Street Ambient® Asphalt remains workable over time and can be applied straight from the bag or stockpile whenever it’s needed. It installs easily in all weather conditions – including rain and cold temperatures – making it the perfect solution for the Northwest’s unpredictable climate.

Our production, sales, and support teams have built long-term relationships with government agencies, public utilities, and contractors across WA, OR, ID, MT, AK, and HI. We manufacture and package EZ Street Ambient® Asphalt in 50 lb bags, 500 lb sacks, and 1-ton and 2-ton bulk sacks – and it’s also available in batch quantities by the ton at most of our plant locations.
For customer convenience, we offer pickup, loading, and delivery services. If you’re outside a Lakeside Industries service area or need smaller quantities, EZ Street Ambient® Asphalt is also available through our distributor and dealer network.
