Lakeside Industries was proud to support the Port of Portland by completing a substantial paving project at Terminal 6, a critical marine cargo terminal for container storage. The project involved laying down approximately 44,000 tons of asphalt, covering nearly 10 acres of terminal space. To ensure maximum strength and resilience, the asphalt was placed in five separate lifts, achieving a total depth of 15 inches. This heavy-duty pavement is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of container storage and high-capacity industrial use, enhancing Terminal 6’s operational durability and efficiency.
