In October 2022, we completed a job for Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission at Westport Light State Park. The Aberdeen Paving Crew worked to resurface the pre existing roadway and overlay entering the state park.
In Fall 2022, we completed a project at Paine Field, improving airport traffic by resurfacing Taxi Lane E. Due to the strict asphalt specifications and various logistical considerations at airports, this project required a great amount of coordination and teamwork to get the job done. The Monroe Grade and Pave crews, Monroe Plant Operations, and Quality Control all worked together to ensure the project was completed to the exact specification.
In October 2022, we worked with the City of Des Moines to improve and upgrade the Redondo Waterfront area and Woodmont Road. The Kent Prep Crew worked to demo and grind the preexisting asphalt and concrete. Once the prep work was done, Kent Paving Crew laid the new asphalt and worked to finish the project. In July 2020, our Olympic Peninsula Division worked with the Olympic National Park on a project to pave Hurricane Ridge. This project took 2 weeks from start to finish and included 1.6 miles of trail grading and paving. The project improved ADA accessibility on an approximately 20% grade.
In Spring 2022, our Monroe Division began working with WSDOT to make major improvements along sections of I-405, I-5, SR 520, and SR 92 in King and Snohomish counties. Our crews have worked to pave and repair various portions of the roads and bridge decks, replace expansion joints and traffic loops, install traffic systems,
In 2019, our Olympic Peninsula Division completed a project for a group of 20+ homeowners at Lake Sutherland. The project included removing existing degraded asphalt, repairing several base failures, regrading and compacting imported crushed rock, and paving with hot mix asphalt.
